SUN VALLEY SKI TOOLS PRO TUNING VISE For sale is a Sun Valley Ski Tools tuning vise system. This is truly a professional grade vise system . It is made primarily of machined aluminum with stainless jaws and other steel hardware. It was purchased new in 1997 by the shop I worked at. I used this vise from the '97/'98 season to the '05/'06 season while tuning thousands of skis and snowboards. I bought this vise along with many of the other shop tools when the store sadly shut down in 2007. This vise system has been used at my house ever since. While I will miss having this vise in my home shop, I no longer tune skis for a living so I don't really need it anymore . The vise opens to roughly 5-1/4" when fully open allowing for a generous range of ski widths. The jaws swivel to accommodate a wide range of sidewall profiles. The dovetail tracks bolt directly to the vise body. The vise body and the dovetail tracks are then bolted directly to your benchtop. The vise jaws self center to the dovetail tracks keeping everything in line with the two jack stands. Both the jackstands and the snowboard attachments lock on the tracks adding to the stability of the entire system. The snowboard attachments will be shipped partially disassembled to help minimize the shipping box size. You will need an 1/8" hex wrench to reassemble them. The shipping size of this entire vise system is roughly  40" x 12" x 8" and weighs about 30 lbs.
